The Soapbox: The story behind New Hampshire’s Emergency Notification System

On February 2, 45 people escaped a massive fire at Greater Nashua Mental Health’s Amherst Street location after an explosion caused by a gas leak. The damage could have been much worse if not for our first responders and the state’s emergency notification system, which alerted Nashua residents to the explosion and urged them to extinguish burners and other flames.
I'm proud to have introduced and shepherded the legislation that created New Hampshire's emergency notification system in 2010. Read more about how the bill's history and impact at the link below:
